The Judicial Academy, Assam is the premier institution established under the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, dedicated to providing rigorous induction training, continuous legal education, and professional development programs for judicial officers across Assam and the North-Eastern states.
The Academy is located at the NLU & JAA Campus, Hajo Road, Amingaon, Kamrup, Assam - 781031, equipped with advanced smart classrooms, high-capacity legal libraries, and residential facilities.
Training programs are primarily structured for newly recruited Civil Judges and Judicial Magistrates, along with refresher and specialized domain training for serving District Judges, administrative staff, and public prosecutors under the High Court's nomination.
Regular induction and specialized workshops are strictly for nominated judicial personnel. However, open seminars, national conferences, and select academic symposia hosted by the Academy are announced publicly for institutional scholars and law students.
